For QTBIPOC Mental Health Practitioners Only

NQTTCN is a base building organization led by and for QTBIPOC tending to the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our community.

Becoming a member of NQTTCN offers a radical opportunity to deepen political alignment and build power with other visionaries who are invested in creating new community-led systems of care for Black, Indigenous and People of Color rooted in self-determination and dignity. We are abolitionists who are actively working to disrupt carceral care strategies that fuel criminalization, surveillance and control. Together, our efforts will seed collective care and safety strategies rooted in healing justice in our movements for liberation and in our systems of care.

Ready to join hundreds of  QTBIPOC practitioners dedicated to healing justice?

Created in June 2016, our QTBIPOC Mental Health Practitioner Directory is an interactive digital resource on our website that helps our community locate QTBIPOC mental health practitioners across the country. We are honored you want to join the almost 450 practitioners committed to healing justice for us by us

To be included in the directory, all QTBIPOC practitioners must complete a membership application. Your directory listing is for one year and must be updated annually to remain active on our site! Learn more about member benefits and offerings here and here! Your membership remains active even if you are no longer listed in the directory!

All practitioners listed in the directory must:

  • Become a member of NQTTCN and join hundreds of QTBIPOC & BIPOC organizers and practitioners committed to healing justice.
  • Identify as a queer, trans, nonbinary, Two-Spirit, gender non-conforming, genderqueer, bisexual, lesbian, pansexual, and/or gay Black, Indigenous or Person of Color.

  • Be a trained, licensed, or certified mental health practitioner working in a community mental health organization, healthcare/medical clinic, counseling center, and/or private practice. Practitioners in training are welcome to list their services as well as long as they are supervised by a licensed practitioner. At this time, we are not listing other QTBIPOC healing practitioners in the directory; however, you are welcome to become a member to build with other QTBIPOC/BIPOC practitioners. Learn more membership HERE!

  • Understand that being listed in the directory in and of itself will disclose your identity as a QTBIPOC. Your specific identity information (race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation) will be shared to assist people seeking care unless you notify us otherwise. Please consider the level of personal and professional risk you are willing to take by being listed in our practitioner directory.
